It Was an Honor..!

I've never thought that I can learn so much in one class. I have never been a computer person. I love technology when I know how to use it, but that was not the case before this class. Before I took this class, my husband had to expend hours explaining to me how to do SOME things such as: changing the font or size of my typing. Or if I was trying to make an Power Point presentation, he practically did it for me.
Now, I am proud to say that I do All MY HOMEWORK by myself even my Power Point presentations with hyperlinks, sound and different animated and background styles. My other classes besides this one, now are amazingly easy to produce a presentation, homework, resource paper, and more.
I can not imaging how much easy my carrier as teacher now will be.
Thanks to this class my worries about been a teacher have been lessen. In nowadays, I can corroborate in Google with my classmates; an activity that I would be doing on a daily basics. Besides Google, I have learn so much about KidPix, Kidspiration, Inspiration, Picasa from Google and the several wonderful Google Tools for Educator, UEN, Education world, Microsoft Office tools, Web searching, Blogging, Wikkis, teachers tools, science we sites, math sites, Internet safety, library access, Digital cameras and more. All of this tools i have learned and are there at my fingertips to use in my classroom.
I am extremely excited about doing class' assignments, projects and even personal projects. It's been fun and very rewarding experience for me personally. My self confidence and confidence with technology have been build up and still increasing. This is the type of feeling that a student should have with a school, and that is my goal with my students, that they can feel confident with any project no matter what it is about.
I definitely will use all the tools that I have learned. At least digital cameras, Google calendars, Google sites, Power Point, Kid inspiration, UEN for sure!, Picasa, Blog, Wikkis, and Discovery education, and of course whatever tool that can enhance my student's interest for education.
Indeed, this is the most eye opening class that I have ever had. I am forever thankful for this class, now I know that I can teach with confidence and make my students happy to be in my classroom.... This sounds GREAAT!
Thank you Professor Waters, I hope to be in your next class.
