This week its been amazingly great for me! In the past days, I've realized how wonderful is to be alive. Even though I struggle with being a student and being a mom at the same time, I honestly enjoying school specially when I a taking classes where I am constantly learning, discovering, creating new things that I will be using on my future classrooms. Of course, I love to be a mom but it is challenging when you are going to school at the same time. But let me tell you, I have dreamed with the most crazy things of my life.

I've never thought that dreaming with technology can be so addictive and entertaining. This wee I have dream to have the most amazing "sick" laptop / computer... A MacBook Pro 17 inch with an additional 30-inch flat panel screen, wireless mouse and keyboard, and remote control. Not to mention the most sophisticated software that can MY computer to make professional videos and pictures and of course music. I can not imaging how much fun I would have and my students and even my family with such MONSTER machine.

Having a machine like that, it would required to have serious skills and knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware. Which is good because if I want something like that in my classroom, I need to learn how to prepare myself for the challenge. right now I am learning so much about Microsoft Excel and Windows' tools that I have heard about before. Making graphs straight from the information in Excel and labeled them with fancy shapes and more? never knew that could happens. Adding pictures to my Word documents and make look like a PowerPoint presentation? I thought that I have to make two different documents in order to have the same results.

On the day that we learned about Excel tools, we did the Olympics Medal Count Down. I had a blast. I day dreamed that I was there in the Olympics watching Cobby Briant, Lebron James, Boozer, and all the members of Basketball Team USA playing and winning the Gold Medals... and yes I thought myself keeping records and doing pie chart to present that to the Olympics committees.
I know this is kind of crazy, but I also compare that dream with my dream as being a teacher and how I WANT my classroom to be. I want my classroom to be a fun place to learn and discovery. I want my classroom to be organized and high tech that students, parents, college, and principal would be happy go there and see my love for teaching. To me visuals adds can enhance the learning process and inspire our young generation to be more proactive and professional.
