My adventure with technology

In the past days, I have learned what is a blog and how COOL is to have one. I never thought that I, personally will or could of have one. When my Sister in Law Becky told me about hers, I wasn't to exited about the concept of having a website for me or my family. But I was wrong, when I visited her blog for the first time, I like it but I wasn't interested on one for me. I thought that I have to be a "computer geek" to make one. One day, Becky posted her goal and the results of her commitment and her accomplishment, I could not believe how powerful this way of communication is.

Presently, I am taking a class called COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION. This class requires that we know about computers and what out there in technology that we can use as teacher to improve our teaching techniques and to be more productive. Well, now I have to have a blog. A blog that I can use to communicate with parents, other teachers, classmates, professors, and students. THAT IS COOL! I can post videos, pictures, and projects of my students on the web. I know that there is more out there in the web, and I know that I can learn even more about this amazing tool...I want to because children learn and retain more in their minds when a concept is taught with visuals. I think it will be very exited for the students and their parents to see pictures or videos of their children in classrooms learning.

Last Tuesday, I've learned more about some tools that I can use with my future students and their parents. I did not know that Gmail have the most practical and amazing applications and formats that I can use and apply in my teaching lessons, classrooms organization, and school and personal use. From PowerPoint presentations, calendars, Resume templates, budgets templates, Photos, videos and so on. I can't imaging how much I can do and how smart I am going to look! I am so amazed how much I have learn in that Internet application.
