I am an UEN & PIONEER Convert!

My Reflections!
I am so amazed with all these reliable tools and databases available in Utah Education Network (uen.org) I was worried about if I would have a series of curriculum for each class that I have to teach. But now I the support and the tools that I need to have a great jump start. UEN offers a variety of database with core curriculums, lesson plans, interactive activity, fun activities, research material and ideas for each grade and topics that a teacher could use to make education fun!

UEN is not only a teacher's network where they can find lesson plans but also a place where teacher can get professional development, resources, and best way to involve parents and communities in our children education. Parents and students can also have the opportunity to use this remarkable web site.

In UEN, teachers have access to the Pioneer Library K-12 schools that offers so many resources from CultureGrams (international culture education resources), General references from K-20, educational videos in EBSCO, world book encyclopedia with articles, pictures and maps from all over the world. Library of Congress, a section for preschool education, and more. This website is incredible! I can not express how grateful I am for this type information available for teachers. Teachers must use this network everyday and every lesson. This network really makes the education process easy, fun, and interactive.

UEN also offers to teachers a link to make a personal and public website; where teachers can have NOT ONLY the reputation of being part of Utah Education Network but, illustrate, to parents and students, their own professional preparation and type of material taught in class in a school year.
I certainly will use this network in my classroom, students will have the world in their fingertips. I will teach them, as much as I can, how to use and download interactive websites that can help the to be better and reading, math, and discover science and technology. And the best of all, these websites and free and safe.
