There are so many fun and educational ways that we can use our digital camera. Digital cameras are small piece of a jigsaw puzzle in technology education. However, digital cameras are a big and excited tool that teacher can use in the classroom to teach so many subject that are hard to teach because they are not so interesting or fun to teach or learn.

Digital cameras can bring new ways to keep students excited to learn and to discover the world around them. Even a kindergarten can create the most simple but amazing project by taking a picture.
For that reason I desired to include this type of technology in my future classroom. Here are some of my favorite fun ways to use a digital camera to help my students to discover the world:
- Create a Yearbook of Our Classroom. Featuring BEFORE (The First Day of School) and AFTER (The last Day of School) of each student; their physical and intellectual growth.
- Create a Earth Science Project. By documenting the growth process of seeds with pictures and keeping records of the process.
- Create a "About Me" book. Pictures of students with things that they like, favorite color, and goals.
- Create a Classroom's Blog. Parents and students can see pictures and read about our week in our classroom.
- Create an Art Project Design. With Pictures from students and teachers, taken by the students, to make a big design or a big picture. Example: The American Flag or U.S map.

By using digital cameras, students will excited to learn and be part of the world of education. Digital cameras can open students' imaginations; they can see the world differently and find their own hobbies, love and respect for nature and appreciation for education and technology. and who knows...even their future carriers.
