Music, Picutre, Info ...Action! Just like Movie Director.

When a Movie director says action, the show is on the road. Cameras, Sound, Actors, Stage, Audio must have to be ready to go. Recording a simple scene, it involves many people to control the back stage, the sound, the lighting to make a great production.
Music, Pictures, and Visual effects are the key factors to enhance the topic or the main idea of the production. if some of these factor, for example audio or lighting, failures the production is a chaos! Even, if the main actors of the production are famous or one of your favorite, the movie will not be worth it of your time.
A movie production is the most closer example of making a PowerPoint presentation. But in this case, you are the movie director, main actor, back stage team, and more. PowerPoint can make possible to present yourself or your ideas on a excellent and interesting way. I never imaging that can be the case.
This week, I have learned that PowerPoint is a presentation tool that not only I can copy and
paste some picture to make a presentation colorful. PowerPoint is a way to project yourself or your ideas in the most sophisticate and interesting manner. who would thought that we can include music, existing pictures, information, chance shape of pictures like a cloud or smiling face or an arrow? that is impressive.
PowerPoint offers many options to make an amazing class presentation. I did know that I can link my pages to each other and add music to it. Or even have different background for each of the slides with a link to another one. I can time each slide, add different links, interactive movements within.
PowerPoint is a persuasive technology. Not only company professionals can use it, but students can make incredible project presentations... the sky i s the limit. Charts, shapes, images, text, all of these more at their finger tips. PowerPoint is the tool to make an student use their imagination.
PowerPoint can be use in many other way that can create confident on a student. And that is priceless! As a teacher, I can make impressive presentation that my students can be amazed but I can't imaging how great will be my joy if I teach my children how to use this type of tool. I can even make my students to make their own report class using this technology. I can put all their grades and report card info, individually, on a spread sheet and available for them to use. They can add music, pictures of their projects and activities to create a high tech Parent and Teacher Conference. These project not only will satisfies and impress the parent, but it will build confidence and self steam on each of my students.
We are living in a High Tech World, why can't we teach our children in their early years how to deal and live in it and be prepare for the future to come? I will... Music, Picture, Info...Action!
